Subject: Free Zoom AP Exam Tutoring for High School Students
Are you in a club that works with high school students? Or do you know any
high school students in need of tutoring?
The pandemic has made it hard for high school students to get academic
support. The Scribe, the UMD American Medical Student Association's pre-med
blog, is offering free subject-specific AP tutoring sessions with experienced
tutors starting February 2022 over Zoom. Tutoring will be on a personalized,
one-on-one basis with tutors who have scored a 4 or higher on the exam. Later
in the spring, The Scribe will also be offering SAT/ACT tutoring and college
prep. College prep will consist of application advising and college essay; as
writers (see our blog, linked at bottom), many of our members are
particularly able to help with application essays and activities statements.
More information about our team, service mission, and organization can be
found linked in the form. Feel free to send this blurb and the sign-up form
to any high school you are associated with.
