Subject: PGCPS Tutoring Opportunity with Education Equity Initiative

Become an Acceleration Academy Tutor with the Education Equity Initiative
The Education Equity Initiative is excited to announce its partnership with
Prince George’s County Public Schools on the Acceleration Academy program!
This program provides educational support to K-5 students in Prince George's
County who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. We are seeking
passionate individuals who are looking to make a difference in young
individuals' lives by tutoring these students. You will be working one-on-one
with students in approximately 30-minute intervals, for about 6 hours a day,
Monday through Thursday. By tutoring these students, you will be providing
crucial support that can have a large impact on their academic success in
Reading/English Language Arts and Mathematics. The program will begin on July
5th and will span 4 weeks. Tutors will earn $17.50 per hour.
