A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available at Imperial College London to carry out research in the area of numerical optimization for molecular and process systems engineering. This position is part of ADOPT, an international centre-to-centre collaboration between the Sargent Centre of Process Systems Engineering and the JARA Center for Simulation and Data Science in Aachen, Germany. It will entail work at the interface between global optimization and machine learning with a focus on computer-aided approaches to simultaneous process and solvent design, under the co-supervision of Professors Claire Adjiman, Benoit Chachuat, and Costas Pantelides.
