Subject: Research Assistant Position Available with University of Maryland

Description:
Dr. Osamah Saeedi at UMSOM's Department of Ophthalmology is looking to hire a
full-time Research Assistant. The position typically spans 12 months but can
be extended as needed. This position is for graduates in their gap year
seeking a research position. Previous employees have gone on to medical
school and residency at the University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins, Baylor,
and the University of Pittsburgh.

The Research Assistant play an integral role in multiple clinical and
translational research studies. Translational studies involve working with
rabbits and non-human primates. This position allows for clinical exposure
and the opportunity to present/publish research, with a strong focus on
in-depth scientific research and data analysis.

Ideal candidates are highly collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented,
with significant research, laboratory, and/or clinical experiences. MATLAB
proficiency is preferred but not required for this position.
