Multiple postdoctoral and research associate positions are available at Cornell University's PEESE group (www.peese.org) in the general areas of systems engineering and AI. The postdoc salary will be at least USD 55,000/year, an additional 10% contribution of the salary provided by the program to the researcher's retirement account, and full Cornell-employee benefit plans. Candidates with strong research backgrounds and relevant expertise could be considered for Cornell's new Schmidt AI in Science Program. Cornell is one of the few universities worldwide selected to establish the Schmidt AI in Science Postdoc program (https://news.cornell.edu/stories/2022/10/cornell-joins-schmidt-ai-science-postdoc-research-initiative). We will recruit and train a cohort of up to 100 postdoctoral fellows over the next six years. The Schmidt AI in Science Fellows will be supported by a salary of at least USD 72,000 per year, plus the 10% additional retirement contribution and full Cornell-employee benefit plans.
