On *Monday, April 2*, hundreds of people will *rally in Maryland's Capital to support the Maryland Offshore Wind Energy Act*. The bill will help get Maryland off coal by building an offshore wind energy farm big enough to power almost half the homes in Maryland's eastern shore. MaryPIRG will have a *free bus leaving Cole Field House at 5:30 pm*. The rally starts at 7:00 pm in Annapolis and, along with roughly 200 other activists, we will form a circle of support around the Statehouse. It might get a bit dark, so the MD League of Conservation Voters, Sierra Club, and the Chesapeake Climate Action Network will hand out environmentally friendly, wind-mill shaped glow sticks. Fill out the *RSVP page* if you're interested! <http://www.webaction.org/site/Survey?ACTION_REQUIRED=URI_ACTION_USER_REQUESTS&SURVEY_ID=21102> Or email Sam Rivers, the MaryPIRG Wind Works Coordinator, at [log in to unmask] for more information.
