The Office of Undergraduate Studies is extending until May 4, 2012, nominations of University of Maryland faculty members for two teaching awards. These awards, given annually, are the Undergraduate Studies Programs Teaching Award and the Undergraduate Studies CORE General Education Teaching Award.

Based on undergraduate student nominations, the Office of Undergraduate Studies will recognize two faculty members for excellence in teaching:  one faculty member in an Undergraduate Studies Program, and one faculty member in a CORE General Education course. The two winning faculty members will receive $1,000 cash awards and be recognized in a ceremony held in May.

Nominations for the award are due by May 4, 2012.
