COME AND FIND OUT ABOUT THE BIOLOGY HONORS PROGRAM (FREE FOOD AND DRINKS!) ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 25, 4:00 - 6:00 PM IN ROOM 1208, BIOLOGY-PSYCHOLOGY BUILDING! You may already know that independent research is one of the best ways to get noticed by graduate and professional schools (or potential employers). What you may not know, however, is that getting a project together is not as complicated as it seems. The Biology Honors Program is perfect for aspiring students in their Junior and Senior years (but Sophomores may enter in some cases) from any major that relates to the biological sciences who are interested in getting involved in an original research project in a faculty member's laboratory. It is one of the best ways to network with other undergraduate students, advanced graduate and post-doctoral students, and faculty members; to learn important experimental and analytical techniques; to earn solid recommendations; and to build your Curriculum Vitae. The Biology Honors Program is holding an Open House on Monday, February 25, 4:00-6:00 pm, in Room 1208 of the Biology-Psychology Building for all students who would like to come and check out the Program, ask questions and get them answered, and get FREE FOOD!
