Subject: Research Opportunity for undergrads in NY Description: Fordham has a NSF-funded summer REU program that brings ~10 undergrads to our field station to conduct 10-week research projects. Students receive a $5,000 stipend and free housing at the station while working with a research lab. Could you kindly spread the word about this program to your undergraduates, or to other colleagues that you think may be interested? http://www.fordham.edu/info/21461/research_opportunities_for_undergraduates The applications are due by February 2nd. The only restrictions are that the students must be US citizens or permanent residents, and will not graduate before May 31st. Thank you, and let me know if you have any questions.
