Subject: International Internships Panel Tomorrow Description: Interested in interning abroad? Curious to learn more about the options that exist? In celebration of International Education Week, come hear from a panel of current UMD students who have gained valuable experience through internships in other countries. Panelists include: Rae Baron, Senior, Government and Politics major, completed an internship with the British Parliament through Maryland-in-London. Tyler Draughon, Senior Spanish major, participated in an internship through Maryland Social Entrepreneur Corps. Sade Ayinde, Junior, Global Economic Policy and Development major, completed an internship teaching English in Phichit, Thailand. Azuka Wonodi, Senior, Economics Major, completed an internship in business consulting in Cambodia. Ciara Egan, Junior, Cell Biology and Genetics Major, completed an internship teaching high school Biology and Chemistry in Kampala, Uganda. Nisha Seebachan, Sophomore, interned with the Mission to El Salvador in San Salvador, El Salvador.
