cybersecurity, and sustainability. The Global Semester Fellows in Washington,
D.C. and Federal Semester Fellows Programs offer you a chance to take your
skills out of the classroom and apply them in the real world. Apply today!

Both programs combine a fall seminar in an issue area with a spring
internship in Washington D.C. Some of our concentrations include Science
Diplomacy, Energy and Environment, Responses to Global Challenges, and
Homeland Security Policy. Past internship locations include: National
Institutes of Health; Department of Energy; Genetic Alliance; House Committee
on Science, Space, and Technology; Aerospace Industries Association;
Department of State; Bureau of Oceans, Environment & Science; White House
Office of Science and Technology Policy; and Department of Homeland Security.
Year-round activities include trips to Capitol Hill and federal agencies,
professional development workshops, and conversations with policymakers.
