Subject: University of Maryland Scholars Summer Research (UM Scholars) Program Summer 2017 Program Information Session Description: Funded by the University of Maryland MPowering the State (MPower), the UM Scholars Program at the School of Medicine is an intensive summer research program for UMCP undergraduates majoring in science, engineering, and mathematics fields and interested in biomedical research and medical professions. Applicants undergo a competitive selection process for the program and once selected, are matched with faculty researchers who have leading-edge biomedical and medical research projects. The Scholars will conduct intensive research and immerse in enrichment experiences for 10 weeks at the School of Medicine during the summer.
