WCDC is a phenomenal celebration of dance, diversity, and joy that
naturally uplifts mental well-being, featuring some of the best college
dance teams in the USA - converging at UMD on Sunday, April 2nd - in front
of world-renowned judges and dance enthusiasts like yourself!
Join us at the University of Maryland on Sunday, April 2, 2pm - 4:30pm EST
to be a part of the excitement. The first-ever dance competition of its
kind - merging the most incredible dance from expert college dance teams
and mental well-being practices and dance showcases by world-renowned
choreographers. The World Culture Dance Competition brings together dance
forms from all cultures to compete for cash prizes and to celebrate the
richness of the arts and the tremendous value of mental wellness. Featuring
breathwork, meditation, and a variety of well-being practices throughout.

These are our world renowned judges:

Kurtis Blow, is one of the founding fathers of Hip Hop. He is the first
commercially successful  rapper, singer, songwriter, record/film producer,
b-boy, DJ, public speaker and minister.

Dominic Sandoval (D-trix), is an all-star B-boy and freestyle dancer,
Hip-Hop dancer, YouTube personality, television personality, and actor,  So
You Think You Can Dance All-Star & Judge, and America’s Best Dance Crew
Champion.

Samantha Long, Founder/CEO of A THREAT, choreographer, J Balvin’s Global
Dance Captain, a dance rights advocate and music video director with work
credits ranging from Nicki Minaj to booming artist development client, REI
AMI. From Billie Eillish and Cardi B., to Chris Brown and Shakira.

Pause Eddie, all-star dancer and dance teacher and has performed on big
stages like MTV’s ABDC, America’s Got Talent, World of Dance and Chance The
Rapper’s Magnificent Coloring Day tour.

Daya Ravi is one of the most eminent teachers of Indian Classical dance in
the DMV area, and is one of the founding board members of IDEA (Indian
Dance Educators Association)  in Washington DC.
