A postdoctoral position is currently available in the Process Systems Engineering Laboratory at MIT. The successful candidate will perform research on a project investigating optimal integrated design and operation of coal gasification processes with CO2 capture and sequestration. The project is sponsored by a major international corporation and the candidate's responsibilities will include interaction with and reporting to the sponsor. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering (or related area) with expertise in chemical process modeling, simulation and optimization, both steady-state and dynamic.
