Two postdoctoral positions are available at the Systems Research Institute at Tufts University (http://www.ase.tufts.edu/sri/) under the supervision of Professor Christos Georgakis. The successful candidates will perform research on a project investigating new methodological approaches for the design and operation of Pharmaceutical processes. The project is in collaboration with several major international corporations with interest and activities in the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals. The selected candidates’ responsibilities will include interaction with and reporting to the collaborating companies. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering (or related area) with expertise in chemical process modeling, simulation, control and optimization.
