Internship Opportunity at Peace Corps

50th Anniversary Digital Library Project 

Peace Corps is developing a digital library of historical materials to honor its 50th Anniversary in 2011.  The digital library will include stories and photos from Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) as well as agency-produced documents, photos and multimedia clips. The digital library project, located in the Office of Communications, seeks an intern to assist with:

This is an unpaid internship, with flexible hours, available beginning January 2009.  Peace Corps is located in downtown DC, convenient to the Farragut metro stations (red, blue and orange lines).  Please note that you will be required to complete a security background check and attend a brief orientation by Peace Corps' Office of Safety and Security before beginning the internship.  

We would be happy to work with you to apply this experience toward internship/practicum credit hours.
