Barron’s Washington Bureau is seeking an energetic intern to process their rare book collection.  This is a wonderful opportunity for students interested in gaining experience in a special library or collection setting and could also be used to fulfill practicum requirements or as a field study.

 

Barron's Washington Bureau, located at 1025 Connecticut Ave. NW, and contains over two thousand books on economics and business that have been accessioned over 25 years, in addition to bound economic studies and press releases that are of use in business or economics reference.

Politics

Government Reform

 

There are an estimated 100 or so bound galleys and pre-publication versions, however, most are trade books.

 

Reasonable transit expenses to and from the project will be covered.
