More about Bruce Rosenstein:

Bruce interviewed and wrote extensively about Peter Drucker for USA
TODAY
and other publications before writing his new book. He will share
Drucker’s
secrets for leading a profoundly fulfilling life.

Bruce will focus on what you can learn and apply immediately from
Drucker’s
work and personal life example on:

* Living in more than one world; with diverse people, activities and
pursuits
* Developing and getting the most out of your core competencies
* Creating your future through actions you can take today
* Exercising your generosity through mentoring and volunteering
* Teaching and learning

Bruce will show, discuss and answer questions on a 21-minute video of
his interview with Peter Drucker, conducted in Claremont, California,
seven months to the day before Drucker died in 2005. Drucker shared his
wisdom about management, knowledge work and especially how to lead a
contented, satisfying life. You can view a 4 ½ minute trailer of the
interview at:

Bruce Rosenstein is the author of Living in More Than One World: How
Peter Drucker's Wisdom Can Inspire and Transform Your Life
(Berrett-Koehler, August 2009). He found himself living the principles
of the book unexpectedly beginning in December, 2008, following a
multiple-employee layoff from USA TODAY, after 21 years. He was the
embedded librarian in the News section of the newspaper, and for the
final 12 years, also wrote about business and management books for the
Money section.

The psychological blow of a layoff was considerably tempered because he
had already built the multidimensional principles in the book into his
own life. He began working on the book in late 2002, and has taught as a
lecturer at The Catholic University of America's School of Library and
Information Science in Washington, D.C., since 1996.

He has studied Drucker's work for more than twenty years. Besides USA
TODAY, he has written for such publications as Leader to Leader,
Information Outlook, ONLINE and Library Journal. Contact him on the web
