Dear Martha:

I am writing to you because you are in a leadership positions with SLA’s Washington DC chapter AND are listed on the SLA chapter website as having a Silver Spring mailing address.  The National Regulatory Research Institute (www.nrri.org) is currently advertising on the SLA web site for a “Knowledge Communities Professional" (job advertisement attached).  We too are in silver Spring MD, but, so far, all of our good job applicants are from outside the Washington D.C. area.  My simple hope is that you may know someone who knows someone in the DC area who might be interested in working here.  If you were to circulate the attached within the SLA's DC community, I will be most grateful!

Thanks in advance and all the best,

Joe
