A postdoctoral position is currently available in the Fuel Cell Laboratory at Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas.  The successful candidate will perform a wide range of research activities leading to the design, implementation and field testing of various control strategies for PEM fuel cell applications.  Activities may include model development, steady-state and dynamic simulation, control strategy development, reliability modeling and embedded systems coding. 

 

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering (or related area) and be a United States citizen.  Chemical process modeling, dynamic simulation and optimization expertise (Matlab and/or Visual C/C++) is required.
