I wanted to send out a personal invite to a social media speaker series coming up on Thursday, October 14th that is co-sponsored by the Smith School's Center for Social Value Creation (CSVC) and the iSchool's Center for the Advanced Studies of Communities and Information (CASCI). Everyone knows that social media have revolutionized the way companies do business. But can social media also change the world?  Part one of this fall's two-part series will introduce you to young entrepreneurs who have founded revolutionary organizations that are indeed changing the world, one Tweet at a time.
