National Archives Center for Advanced Systems and Technologies (NCAST) Research Presentation, October 18 at Archives I and October 19 at Archives II
Dr. Maria Esteva, NCAST research partner at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), will discuss important skills, theories, and practices needed
for collaborations between archivists and computer scientists.
Dr. Esteva is a Research Associate and Data Archivist at TACC, and heads a research team that is developing an interactive application for analyzing
large and complex electronic records collections that uses Visualization, statistical methods, natural language processing, and data mining. She will also present her team's research findings to date.
The presentation is at 11:00 a.m. October 19 at Archives II in Room 4340.
