Jennifer McMahan has been with the Justice Libraries for eleven years and currently serves as the Head Librarian for the Civil, Criminal, and Civil Rights Divisions. Her activities there include managing four of the Justice Libraries, as well as reference, training, and helping to create and maintain the DOJ Virtual Library. She serves on the Board of the Law Librarians' Society of Washington DC, the FLICC Education Working Group, is chairperson of the AALL Federal Law Libraries Caucus, and the President of the LLSDC Federal Law Librarians SIS. She received her Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Catholic University in 1998 and her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Russian Studies from Georgetown University.

Bridget Gilhool started with Justice Libraries ten years ago as a reference librarian in the Antitrust Library. In 2007 she became head librarian for the Antitrust Division, and still enjoys researching people, companies and industries to support investigations and litigation. She came to librarianship as a second career, her first being a union organizer in Texas and Philadelphia. She has the home team advantage here, receiving her MLS from UMD in 2000. In her current position, she consistently looks for the best use of the information dollar, analyzing databases and other sources just as we were taught to do in Library School. She also co-teaches two classes and attends professional conferences whenever possible, particularly SLA, AALL and Web Search University. She received a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in History and an MA in Labor and Industrial Relations from Rutgers University.

Kate Lanahan is a law librarian at the Department of Justice serving the Civil Division. She graduated from the University of Maryland's iSchool in May 2010 with a Master of Library Science degree. While at the iSchool Kate served as Vice President of the Special Libraries Association student group.

Lila joined the DOJ Libraries as a Law Librarian in January 2010. She started her career as a librarian at the University of Maryland, College Park, before joining the staff at the University of Maryland Law School. There she developed her current interest in Web design and technology as an Electronic Resources Librarian, and later, as the Director of the Academic Technology Department. Lila is originally from South Carolina, where she earned her BA in International Studies from the University of South Carolina. She also has a JD from the University of Chicago Law School, an MLS from the University of Maryland, and an MA in comparative politics from Johns Hopkins University. She practiced law for several years in Philadelphia before coming to Maryland, where she currently lives.
