SUBJECT: American Red Cross Blood Drive TODAY at Stamp Atrium! Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. There is no substitute for your donation. When you make a blood donation, you join a very select group. Currently only 3 out of every 100 people in America donate blood. Blood products also help save peoples lives, whether it’s a blood transfusion for a car accident victim, platelets for cancer patients, or frequent blood transfusions for sickle cell patients. The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive at the University of Maryland Stamp Student Union in the Atrium from *9 am to 3 pm* on Wednesday April 20th. Please come out and donate or volunteer. Stop by the blood drive any time you can, just an hour of your time is greatly appreciated!
