(Online services and programs for the State Library of Kansas)
Job Summary:

You will play a crucial role in adding value to our services by
●       developing and delivering training
●       creating documentation and on-demand tutorials
●       providing technical support and training for statewide online programs and platforms to librarians and users
●       assisting with website maintenance

You will  help and teach librarians and users about
●       Downloadable audio books and ebooks
●       Information and research databases
●       Web conferencing services
●       HD Video teleconferencing

This position establishes a central point of contact for statewide, electronic services provided to Kansas residents; provides consulting and technical support for regional library system staff; networks with regional library systems, librarians and library organizations to facilitate problem solving. This position is located in Topeka, KS, in the Capitol. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in library science, or near completion of degree; OR equivalent experience directly related to specific job requirements.  Preferred qualifications include one year experience in library training and/or library related technical support; familiarity with State Library electronic resources; familiarity with current library technologies and training and educational applications.

●       Ability to self-motivate and work independently

This is an unclassified state government position with benefits.  Salary range $33,000 - $37,000.
