Here is a great opportunity for a Graduate Assistantship on campus with the Office of Faculty Affairs. They know our school well and would really like to hire an iSchool student who has the Web skills they need.

I'm just the messenger; please contact Rhonda Malone ([log in to unmask]) if you are interested.

Subject: help recruiting G.A.

We are trying to hire a G.A. and are having significant difficulty doing
so. I thought perhaps you knew a student who had the skills we are
seeking. We need someone to maintaiin and hopefully improve our content
heavy database. The skills we are seeking is knowledge of html, basic
adobe or some other image software, dreamweaver or its equivalent, and
creating cascading style sheets. We need to make our website ADA
compliant and would like to work on its navigability. We are finding
many applicants with very high level training but not these fundamental
skills. Do you know of any such students or have a suggestion for how
we would locate them? It seems so strange that we have not been able to
find someone with basic skills (we're willing to do training but we
would like some background).

Thanks, Rhonda
