Postdoctoral position in desalination optimization at MIT
A postdoctoral position is immediately available at MIT (target start
date Feb 1, 2012).
The main research task is optimization of existing and novel
desalination concepts, in collaboration with a major company. The
project will involve publications in top journals as well as
communications with the sponsor. There is opportunity of development of
optimization algorithms and participation in other projects.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in an engineering discipline by the time
of appointment. Expertise in mathematical modeling, numerical
optimization and/or desalination are strongly preferred but not
required. Excellent communication skills are required.
