It is my pleasure to announce the winner of the CAST Directors' Award for Best Poster Presentation. The winning poster was presented by Janna Martinek, entitled "Modeling and Optimization of a Multiple Tube Solar Receiver for High Temperature Solar-Thermal Processes." The First Place award consists of a plaque with citation and an honorarium of $500. There may also be up to three posters receiving Honorable Mention. The winners are selected by majority vote of CAST Directors, or substitutes selected by the Directors, who attend the poster session. The results are announced as soon as possible after the meeting and a formal presentation of the plaque and honorarium for the First Place winner will be made at the CAST Award Dinner to author(s) attending the next AIChE Annual Meeting.
