Free event with Gerald Borgia Professor, Department of Biology
Join Cultural Programs of the National Academy of Sciences (CPNAS) at the D.C. Art Science Evening Rendezvous (DASER). This is a monthly discussion forum on art and science projects in the national capital region. DASERs provide a snapshot of the cultural environment of the region and foster interdisciplinary networking. Reservations and a Photo ID are required for admittance. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m.
This month, the discussion explores the intersection of visual culture and evolution.

6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Check in
7:00 to 7:10 p.m. Welcoming remarks and community sharing time. Anyone in the
audience currently working within the intersections of art and
science will have 30 seconds to share their work. Please
present your work as a teaser so that those who are
interested can seek you out during social time following the
event.
7:10 to 8:10 p.m. Panelists' presentations (15 minutes each)
