Special Projects Librarian/Assistant Librarian to be responsible for individual work and/or for coordinating teams assembled to address ongoing strategic initiatives such as strategic planning and outcome assessment. Require: Graduate library degree from an ALA accredited institution; strong commitment to high quality service; ability to work well collegiality, in teams, independently, with all levels of staff and with diverse library customers; experience in academic libraries; flexibility to work in an environment of continual change including change of duties as library needs evolve; analytical skills to effectively present and interpret information; strong computer knowledge including skill in the use and application of multimedia and social media to library services; strong written and oral communications skills, initiative and ability to conceive and manage projects; ability to meet the Libraries’ requirements for promotion and continuing contract (http://www.lib.muohio.edu/about/larps.pdf). Desire: Marketing and/or project management experience in an academic library.
