The project is an international collaboration between Qatar University, Texas A&M and Lamar University.

The scope focuses at the development of a novel framework for optimal management of abnormal situation that occur in facilities based on simultaneous design and optimization of operation. The project will investigate the impact on reducing process flaring and thereby GHG emissions.
