³Fill-A-Bus² relief campaign begins next week. DOTS, Dining Services, University Relations and Athletics are working together with student leadership to ³Fill-A-Bus² for NY/NJ hurricane Sandy relief efforts. DOTS will be parking Shuttle-UM buses in front of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union from 8 am to 5 pm Monday, November 12, 2012 until Friday, November 16, 2012 to collect donations for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. University Relations will be contacting alumni as part of the effort. For every donation on the bus Dining Services and ICA will be offering coupons for free popcorn and $15 off $20 tickets to the November 20th Menıs basketball game versus Lafayette. The campus community recognizes that a big percentage of out of state students are from New York or New Jersey campus is eager to show its support during this time of need. DOTS, Dining, ICA and University Relations hope to completely ³fill a bus² with donations for the victims. Donated items will be driven to a Red Cross donation point for the relief effort. The Red Cross asks that if you can, please donate money to the Red Cross through their website. That allows them to distribute the donations in the most efficient way possible. However, if you cannot donate money, right now they are in desperate need of baby/children's supplies.
