*November has arrived, which means that time is running out to register for the SLA Maryland Chapter’s 2012 Holiday Cheers Celebration at the Baltimore Museum of Industry!  The deadline to register is November 26^th, so a mere 25 days remain to sign up! Students can sign up for $30—a savings of $10-$15 from the regular rates!

Generously sponsored by CQ Press and Thomson Reuters, the Maryland Chapter’s Holiday Cheers celebration gives you a chance to expand your professional and personal networks while enjoying the view of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.  You’ll also get an exclusive glimpse into the museum’s vividly-recreated Print Shop and the original 1865 Platt Cannery.

You’ll be treated to a light networking dinner, catered by Rouge Catering, featuring crudité, antipasti, roasted red peppers, mini vegetable egg rolls, and southwest cornucopias, with delicious dessert options.

The presentation of the Chapter Champion awards, the introduction of the Executive Board for 2013, and the Chapter’s Annual Business Meeting will also comprise the evening.

Not a member?—no problem!  Get acquainted with the Chapter and learn more about SLA, all while having some festive fun during the evening!  We welcome members, non-members, students, retired professionals, and their guests!
