The Beatles Live! Project is a collaborative global quest to find and reveal hidden films, sound recordings, stories, photographs, and other media artifacts that were captured during The Beatles' concert tours. The project is using an approach that combines traditional archival research with innovative use of social media to allow fans to partner with The Beatles in a planned feature film.

Matthew White, Owner
Archive-Based Productions

With over 25 years as an industry leader in the care and development of audio-visual archives, Matthew White has introduced innovative operational and licensing models—and started important businesses and associations—that connect archives with audiences.    As the Executive Director for the Corporation of Public Broadcasting’s American Archive, White worked with PBS, NPR, and hundreds of radio and television stations to build a digital repository for public media programming—his historic Content Inventory Initiative generated over 2.5 million inventory records, now searchable in a common database.
