Call for Papers for the 3rd Int'l Conf. on Sustainable Chemical Product and Process Engineering, Dalian, China, May 27-30, 2013

Dear CAST Members,

As you may have known, we are working with Chinese colleagues to organize the 3rd International Conference on Sustainable Chemical Product and Process Engineering in Dalian, China, May 27-30, 2013.  This conference is co-sponsored by U.S. NSF, China NSF, AIChE Sustainable Engineering Forum/Institute for Sustainability and a number of organizations. 

The conference theme is Sustainable Chemical Manufacturing and Energy Supply.  The major topics of the conference include: (1) green chemistry and engineering in product design, (2) fine chemical innovation and manufacturing sustainability, (3) innovation in process design for sustainability, (4) environmental health and safety of nanotechnology, (5) alternative and renewable energy system and supply chain, (6) energy and sustainability in production, (7) green reaction engineering & separation, (8) biological conversion and process sustainability, (8) water management and reuse, and (10) LCA, sustainability assessment, and tools.  

Our experience with the past two conferences of the same type in China in 2007 and 2010 is that the conference should also attract 200-300 participants from ~15 countries.  Many distinguished scholars and researchers will give speeches.  We would like to encourage you to consider paper submission and attend the conference.  The deadline for abstract submission (online) is Feb. 22, 2013.  More detailed information can be found from the conference webpage (link: http://isscme.dlut.edu.cn/top/home.php).  Should you have any question or need more information, please let us know.
