SESYNC, a national research center funded through a grant to the University of Maryland, seeks to hire an undergraduate intern to work with its Communications Coordinator and IT department to produce educational and promotional materials for SESYNC. Responsibilities --Videotape and edit Center events and interviews with researchers --Create new video products to highlight SESYNCıs research and mission --Develop strategies to market and drive traffic to videos --Various additional video editing and graphic design projects as needed --Participate in SESYNC intern events, such as field trips, lectures, and discussions Qualifications --Experience with Adobe products (including Premier Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator) --Familiarity with online video publishing and marketing (YouTube) --Exceptional video editing skills Outcomes --Intern will gain hands-on experience in academic communications --Intern will expand their professional video editing skills and have a portfolio of work to show to future employers Program Details: The position will be located in Annapolis, MD.
