Graduate Student Internship Opportunities in Advanced Process Control and Optimization


ExxonMobil Research & Engineering - Corporate Strategic Research is currently conducting research in the area of process control and optimization.  We are looking for graduate student interns for summer 2014.  The work location is roughly 60 miles west of New York City in Clinton, NJ.  Eligible students will have completed at least two years of study in pursuit of a Ph.D. in the general area of advanced process control and optimization.

During this research-focused internship, the student will gain exposure to the challenges involved in conducting leading-edge industrial research.  We are seeking outstanding candidates whose graduate research focuses on advanced process control, process optimization, or a closely related field.  In addition to a strong technical background and demonstrated high levels of academic achievement, candidates should possess solid research capabilities, strong initiative, and good communication skills.
