Subject: College Park Crossroads 2013 Tour Stop: Clean Energy, Not Cove Point Description: Next week on November 19th, the SGA's Sustainability Committee and a local nonprofit, the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN), are partnering to bring an exiting event to campus discussing the battle between clean and dirty energy in the state of MD. · WHAT: "College Park Crossroads 2013 Tour Stop: Clean Energy, Not Cove Point": The Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) is touring the state and educating citizens about a destructive plan to build more dirty energy infrastructure in MD, and letting them know how they can help stop it! Knowing that UMD is a hub of passionate, intelligent and active students, CCAN is partnering with the Student Government Association to bring the tour to campus!
