We have two openings in our department as listed below that are closely related to the CAST division, with details in the attached two files. We would greatly appreciate your help in forwarding this to interested individuals. (1) Anderson Endowed Chair in the Energy Sciences: An endowed chair at the senior (full professor level) or in exceptional cases at senior Associate Professor level for a leadership position in energy research within chemical engineering and across campus. Areas of research include but are not limited to Energy Systems, Chemical Processing, Optimization, Reaction Engineering, Separation Science, Biocatalysis, Photovoltaics, Biofuels and the Environment. (2) Professor of Practice in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering: A non-tenure track full-time position with primary responsibility for the two semester capstone senior Process Design course. Additional responsibilities include involvement in the Unit Operations Laboratory, industrial outreach for the Opportunities for Student Innovation (OSI) program in CHE, serving as academic advisor for CHE majors and primary liaison for industry relations with the department. -- Mayuresh V.
