Subject: 5K Race for a Cure Description: This Sunday the Jewish Student Union (JSU) is having our 3rd annual 5k Race for a Cure! All proceeds from this race benefit Save A Child's Heart (http://saveachildsheartus.org/), an organization working to save the lives of children with serious heart defects and complications. Because of donations from people like us, they are able to save a child's life every 29 hours. The race takes place this Sunday at 11am (registration opens at 10am) at the Chapel Fields on campus. You can register here (https://www.facebook.com/events/483235865152634/) and receive a free t-shirt and breakfast after the race. We would love to see you at the event! It is a great event to come to - even if you are not running. ALL proceeds collected to go to Save A Child's Heart, and there will also be opportunities to get to know more about the organization there. This is a great way to earn community service hours while helping out a great organization at the same time!
