Dear CAST members,
The Circle of Hellenic Academics in Boston (http://hellenic-academics.org) invites nominations for its Doctoral Thesis Award for excellence in thesis research in a Doctoral Program in a US or Canadian University. This year, consideration will be given to nominees in the Mathematical Sciences, Natural Sciences, or Engineering. Nominations, fulfilling the requirements described in the attached file should be received by December 1, 2014.
Kindly circulate this call to as many of your colleagues that might have supervised the Doctoral thesis of a student with Hellenic heritage or descent in the Mathematical Sciences, Natural Sciences, or Engineering and which was defended in the period of July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2014. Circulating this to the Doctoral degree awardees themselves, is also welcomed. The wider the distribution the better.
We would like to achieve a very wide distribution and your help in this is absolutely critical. The deadline for submissions is very tight and your immediate attention in this request will be greatly appreciated.
This announcement will be posted soon at http://hellenic-academics.org
Thank you very much.
