Postdoctoral Position in Pharmaceutical Reaction Modeling:
The Systems Research Institute for Chemical and Biological Processes at Tufts University (http://sri.tufts.edu) is initiating a new research project in collaboration with two pharmaceutical
firms (Sunovion and TEVA) for which we have an immediate opening for a postdoctoral fellow. The position aims to develop a combination data-driven and knowledge-driven models, for reacting systems for small molecule pharmaceutical reactions. This project aims
to develop novel nonlinear chemometric and kinetic modeling methodologies and have a significant impact to practice. The ideal person should have a PhD in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, with expertise in Chemical Reaction Engineering or Process Systems
Engineering as well as experiences in statistical and multivariable data analysis. Interested candidates should email Professor Christos Georgakis ([log in to unmask]) a CV, a list of 3 names of
professional references and a page-long statement explaining the candidate’s interest in the position and, most importantly, highlighting past experiences that ensure success in the described research tasks.
Kindly also forward to Chemical Reaction Engineering colleagues.
