Dear Colleagues: The National Energy Technology Laboratory<http://netl.doe.gov/> (NETL) is seeking U.S. Citizens to fill multiple research positions to enhance its Process Systems Engineering research team. The preferred qualifications for each position include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Process Systems Engineering. All three positions are located at NETL's Pittsburgh location. Large-scale mathematical optimization of energy systems. The candidate should have experience formulating and solving large scale mixed integer nonlinear programs (MINLP) in commercial and/or open source optimization environments such as GAMS or AMPL as well as experience developing and improving mathematically based optimization algorithms.
