Road Trip

The Dietetics Program in the Department of Nutrition and Food Science at the
University of Maryland is pleased to announce an exciting event, Foodie On
Campus: Road Trip.

This Food Fair  is part of a learning process in Food Service Operations
(NFSC350), where students are using their newly learned skills and knowledge
to reach out to UMD campus community in promoting healthy dietary practices.
The event has been planned in collaboration with our Terp Alumna, Faye
Mitchell MS, RD who is a highly recognized and respected entrepreneur in the
Field of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Foodie on Campus is a go-to web resource to help college students cut through
the confusion of staying healthy on-campus by providing sound nutrition
information paired with easy and practical solutions for eating and feeling

Students will have to opportunity to come and enjoy free cooking and smoothie
demonstration as well as try the latest trending health snacks. There will be
free food, trivia and chances to win prizes! We look forward to seeing
