Subject: Internship position at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute Description: The Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute at the National Zoological Park in Washington DC is looking for a motivated student with good skills in bacterial culture and transformation. The candidate will join a research team studying Lactobacillus transformation for biomedical applications. The student will receive a stipend of $1,000 per month on a basis of 20 hours per week for a period of 8 to 10 months (starting in January 2016).
