Subject: MEDLIFE at UMD: General Body Meeting Description: MEDLIFE is an organization that works with low-income communities around the world to improve access to medicine, education, and community development initiatives. It serves to bring primary care medical services to individuals and families who otherwise lack access to quality health care. MEDLIFE at UMD takes mobile clinics to these countries as a part of volunteer trips, and we would love to get more students involved in the upcoming trip to Peru that is being planned for this winter break. This is a great opportunity for a unique and hands-on clinical experience for students interested in health professions.
