The College of Information Studies, Maryland’s iSchool, invites you to participate with us Thursday, March 3rd for the University of Maryland's Giving
Day. This online event is the single largest day of giving at the University of Maryland. During this transformative event, alumni, faculty, staff and friends from around the globe will come together for one unified purpose: to unlock educational
opportunities for Maryland students and faculty.
For Maryland’s iSchool specifically, this is a chance for us to raise critical funds to assist with student scholarships, open doors for experiential learning, support the iPAC Conference on Diversity and Inclusion and help the iSchool continue its mission
to transform interactions between people, information and technology.
With your support, the iSchool has a chance to earn a share of $70,000 in matching funds on Giving Day by competing against other units on campus during hourly and day-long challenges.
If you are in a position to give any amount on March 3rd, please consider timing it to coincide with our hourly challenge. From 4-5 pm, the iSchool will be competing against the College of Architecture and the School of Public Policy to see who can raise the
most number of gifts.
To donate, simply visit http://go.umd.edu/gdischool starting at midnight on March 3rd. Thank
you for your support of iSchool Terps!
