The IFLA Education & Training Section has the pleasure to announce the IFLA
LIS Student Paper Award for 2016. The IFLA LIS Student Paper Award will
honour students of Library and Information Science whose abstract
submissions have been accepted by any IFLA Section or IFLA Unit to be
presented at the upcoming

82nd IFLA Congress, 13–19 August, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio, USA
http://2016.ifla.org/.

Three finalists will be recognized for their outstanding achievements.

*Students must first follow one of the deadlines of any IFLA section Call
for Papers* (http://2016.ifla.org/programme/calls-for-papers). Once the
paper is accepted for presentation by any IFLA section at the World
Congress (not a satellite conference), you may then send your full paper to
SET to apply for the award not later than 15 April 2016.

The winner will receive in total up to 1000 € to support the current IFLA
Congress registration fee as well as visa, economy airfare and economical
lodging. Furthermore the paper will be recommended for publication in the
IFLA Journal. Second and third place finalists will receive a certificate.

The finalists will be announced in May 2016. The winner will be officially
during the IFLA Awards Presentation during WLIC 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.
