Subject: Possible FDA full-time internship Description: FDA/CFSAN/OFAS is looking for possible candidates for a year long full time internship to research and identify current scientific knowledge and safety information pertaining to self-determined GRAS substances (e.g. GRAS inventory databases by GMA), emerging botanicals (e.g., Ginkgo biloba, etc), infant formula additives, as well as provide scientific research support of ongoing and future compliance/enforcement actions. This research project involves searching scientific literature databases, collecting relevant safety information, summarizing research data and pointing out health issues that may be of concern. This is not a laboratory position. The internship will be from September 1, 2016 until August 30, 2017. Initially, please provide resume and transcript.
