Subject: Spring Break Travel Study to Hawaii Description: Three-credit short-term travel study over spring break to the Big Island of Hawaii, focusing on the island's geology, ecology, and sustainable energy technologies. Students will visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the last black sand beach at Punaluu, the NOAA Mauna Loa Atmospheric Observatory, and the Mauna Kea Observatories' Visitor Information Center, among many others.
